08 NIGHTS/09 DAYS TOURISM ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
Arrive in Kochi.
Check into your hotel or accommodation.
In the evening, explore the historic Fort Kochi area. Visit the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and take a stroll along the picturesque Fort Kochi Beach.

Day 2: Kochi Sightseeing
Have breakfast at your hotel.
Visit the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) to see its beautiful murals and artifacts.
Explore the Jewish Synagogue and the Jew Town area.
Visit Hill Palace Museum
In the evening, you can attend a traditional Kathakali dance performance or a cultural show (if available).

Day 3: Kochi to Munnar
After breakfast, drive to Munnar (approximately 4-5 hours' drive).
En route, you can visit the Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls.
Check into your hotel in Munnar.
Enjoy the evening at your leisure to explore Munnar town & shopping.
Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Tea Museum to learn about the tea-making process.
Visit popular attractions like the Rose Garden, Mattupetty Dam, Photo point and Echo Point.
Explore Eravikulam National park (home to the Nilgiri Tahr)
Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 5: Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (approximately 3-4 hours' drive).
Check into your hotel in Thekkady.
In the afternoon, you can take a boat ride on Periyar Lake and spot wildlife in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 6: Thekkady Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Kumali
Evening visit Thekkady Spice garden
Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 7: Thekkady to Kumarakom
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (approximately 3-4 hours' drive).
Check into your hotel or resort in Kumarakom.
Explore the serene backwaters of Kumarakom. You can take a houseboat ride or a traditional canoe ride (optional).
Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 8: Kumarakom Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a paradise for birdwatchers.
Relax by the backwaters or indulge in a spa treatment at your resort.

Day 9: Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kumarakom.
Depending on your departure plans, you can either head back to Kochi for your onward journey or continue your exploration of Kerala.
